I have been a journalist since 1989. I have written about sport, entertainment, travel and lifestyle.
I have been sports editor of several newspapers, including the Gulf Daily News in Bahrain, and have been editor of several sports publications. I was editor of Total Sport, On Course (golf, travel and lifestyle magazine), Men's Style (Dubai-based men's lifestyle magazine) and the official programmes for the Dubai Desert Classic and Dubai Ladies Masters golf tournaments. I have edited an entertainment section in What's On magazine and have also written for HELLO! magazine.
I was commended, as joint runner up with one other person, in the sports journalist of the year category at the 2005 Midlands Media Awards while working as a sports writer for the Nottingham Evening Post.
